UPME uses the New User Default Role setting in WordPress General Settings section for creating new users. However, you may want your users to select a prefered user role at registration. In such cases, you can enable User Role Selection on registration by going to UPME Settings -> Registration Options -> Select User Role at Registration setting. Once its enabled, you will get more settings called Select Role Label and Choose User Roles for Registration. You can define a custom label for user role and select the user roles allowed for registration from the available list. Once enabled, settings section will look like the following screenshot.

Once prefered user roles are saved, you will see it in the registration form as shown in the following screenshot. Now users can choose a role in registration.
